Clariant has expanded its Exolit AP production at its plant in Knapsack, Germany. The expansion is in response to the success of its Exolit flame retardant products and increased market demand. The expansion will reinforce Clariant’s position as the world’s largest manufacturer of long-chain (phase II type) ammonium polyphosphate products, according to the company.
Through this production line, Clariant will be able to supply its customers with several thousand tons of material per year.
